Year 31- A Story and an Offer-1
An empty expanse of space surrounded Jayden. Ethereal and hazy. The space was not devoid of light but neither was it devoid of darkness. The empty space appeared almost dense like being underwater. Jayden felt strange and immediately noted he could not feel his limbs. Jaden noted he didn’t appear to have a body. Just a consciousness but also something else.
Something more instinctual.
Even stranger Jayden felt his thoughts being communicated without sound through the void itself.
“Hello.”
“Helloooooo”
Jayden attempted to call out into the void, not quite sure who or what he was calling out to.
No response, no movement or sound.
After what seemed an eternity Jadyden felt something. Something strange yet very familiar. In the distance a dot floated into view. It somewhat precariously bobbed and dove, seeming insignificant in the vastness that surrounded it.
The dot seemed to glisten like water and flickered a mix between black, white, and grey.
The dot suddenly stopped. As it did a shrill ring erupted through the space. Jayden felt like the space itself was recoiling from the dots’ presence. Jayden focused his presence on the dot. The dot in response seemed to focus its presence on Jayden. As the ring intensified the dot began to shake. A second later there was a flash of white light and Jayden felt his consciousness sucked into the dot with its emergence.
