Common Woes

Springing into the year much different from the last,

Due diligence to those if you deduced this worlds always been crass,

No need to poke fun at all that dreary or gone worng,

Damned if we do damned if we don’t is a villainous song,

Even so its not as though we all shed even a tear,

However others are deciding whether to hide themselves in fear.

Scrolling through neighborhood posts with little dismay,

When there’s a common theme the game is easier to play,

As of now there’s no clear way to justify the news,

With each perspective its purpose is easily skewed,

Rethinking of roles in a rather straightforward plot,

Requiring a higher perhaps than secondary thought.

There are a number of ways to describe myself but none will ever do justice if any were actually due. My history tells it all and can be best summed by this quote. "...it is not you that is mortal but your body. You are not what your physical shape reveals, but each person is his mind, not the body that a finger can point at." Cicero, On The Commonwealth (54 BCE)
