Loving maybe

How come I can’t love the way I want to?

How come? How come?

Why do I need love if I know I have all of you?

Family, Maybe?

Sometimes love comes with pain and I know that’s so true,

Maybe I need less truth? Maybe I need less of all of you?

Maybe? Maybe?

Maybe I just love the world sometimes and that’s okay,

Sometimes, sometimes,

I forget the pain that comes with everyday,

But I, When I,

Think about the pain hot tears come straight to my eyes,

Everything is just fine,

Even when its not fine,

Maybe? Maybe?

I love too much and you know what that is okay,

Maybe? Maybe?

I’ll wake up and love the light in my own eyes,

Everything is just fine, loving you is alright,

Maybe? Maybe?

There are a number of ways to describe myself but none will ever do justice if any were actually due. My history tells it all and can be best summed by this quote. "...it is not you that is mortal but your body. You are not what your physical shape reveals, but each person is his mind, not the body that a finger can point at." Cicero, On The Commonwealth (54 BCE)
