I understand a little less than imagine I could,
All the questions and answers trapped under the hood,
All the whimsical, childish, and petty experiences I’ve seen,
Played down to the level at which all our growth seems to lean,
We hide those moments of adulting as best we are able,
And in some cases wonder what it’d be like to be able to drink under the table,
So much for work to be done behind every scene,
Meaningful and meaningless depending on what are your dreams,
For at the end of the day your embodiment is not only of you,
But those who are considered the family where the choice is that you can’t choose,
